The Zurich Classic of New Orleans is this week's tournament and it is scheduled to happen from April 28^th to May 1^st. The venue is the TPC Louisiana, located in Avondale, Louisiana, with a purse of $6,400,000. The returning champion for this tournament is Jason Bohn, who walked away last year with $1,152,000 and 500 Fed Ex Cup points. His final score was 18 under and he was followed by Jeff Overton with 16 under and then Troy Merritt took third place with negative fourteen. Lee Janzen was next with thirteen under and Greg Chalmers came in fifth.

April 19^th through the 25^th will be the Zurich Classic of New Orleans which is part of the PGA Tour for 2010, and this tournament has been going on since 1938, played then at the City Park Golf Course. Harry Cooper won that very first tournament. The event became an annual tradition starting in 1958 and the tournament is now played at the TPC Louisiana. The tournament takes place at the TPC Louisiana, its a Par 72 course that has 7,341 Yards of space, and is located in Avondale, Louisiana, which is a suburb of New Orleans. The tournament features some of the greatest golfers in the world, and they are all competing for the goal of taking the title away from defending champion Jerry Kelly. The tournament benefits children's charities and the City of New Orleans, and will feature golfers like Sergio Garcia, Stuart Appleby, Justin Rose, Steve Stricker, Mike Wier and David Toms as well as Chrles Howell III and Sean O'Hair.

The Pro-Am starts at 11:00AM on Monday, as well as Open Qualifying. A total of 152 players will tee off in the next stop on the PGA Tour Live, at the TPG Louisiana Course, The Zurich New Orlean's Classic on Monday, April 20^th. The Tournament goes until the 26^th, concluding Sunday The golf action will be action packed as the golfers compete for a 7,500,000 dollar purse.

This tournament, started in 1938, kicks off at 11:00 AM EST on Monday, April 20^th, and will only have 10 of the top fifty giving many other players the opportunity to rise to the occasion and grab their first career PGA tour victory at the New Orlean's Classic. 

Justin Rose and Ian Poulter, both from the UK, are top European golfers but have yet to win in the US.

The New Orlean's event has a history of crowning first time winners including Andres Romero, who won the Zurich New Orlean's Classic in 2008 and is defending his title again this year.
