The World Golf Championship presents the Accenture Match Play Live, February 15^th through the 21^st held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at Dove Mountain, in Marana Arizona. This match comes as we begin the new season of professional golf and in the midst of other PGA tournaments, but this one is unique for being a knockout event, and is held every year at the beginning months. Last year's Championship was whittled down from sixty four players to just two on Sunday, which were Geoff Ogilvy and Paul Casey. The very first hole Ogilvy birdied and the tournament continued in this way, with two points ahead by the time he finished the sixth hole and by the time he had finished the front nine he was already in the lead by four strokes. Eventually Geoff Ogilvy came out ahead for the 2009 tournament, taking home the title, and 550 FedEx Cup points as well as the whopping grand prize of $1,400,000.

Again this year the World Golf Championship will start with 64 players and at this time the field isn't solid but we do know that England's Ross McGowan is waiting on a decision by Tiger Woods to know if he will be taking the last spot or not, and Kevin Na just qualified for the event.
