The Bob Hope Classic Live

The largest Pro-Am tournament of the year happens in a week, The Bob Hope Classic Live, which is from January 18^th through the 24^th. This is the 51^st edition of the tournament with a new sponsor, Franklin American Mortgage Company. The Classic Courses include the Palmer Private at PGA West, the Nicklaus Private at PGA West, the Silver Rock Resort and the La Quinta Country Club. The celebrities this year include Anthony Anderson from Law & Order as well as Cleveland Browns Quarterback Derek Anderson. Country singer and songwriter Steve Azar is among the guest celebrities for 2010 as is rocker Alice Cooper and Winter Olympics champ Toby Dawson. Among the other celebrities playing are Dr. Phil McGraw, Kevin Nealon, Chris O'Donnel, John O'Hurley, Michael Pena, Ron Perlman, Kurt Russel, Clay Walker, Ron White, Kenny G and Bo Jackson.

The professionals attending this tournament include Brian Gay, Bob Estes, Martin Laird, Blake Adams, Woody Austin and many other professional golfers as well as some amatuer golfers.
