The PGA Tour begins the new year with a new sponsor for this tournament. SBS Championship has signed a ten year contract with the PGA to sponsor this tournament, which will be called in its honor and held January 7^th through the 10^th 2010. This tournament is worth $5.6 million dollars total and the winner gets to walk away with 500 Fedex Cup points and a giant check for $1.12 million dollars. This winners only tournament has some new invitees this year but don't count them out just because they haven't won this tournament before. Leading the list is Y.E. Yang who is the current PGA Champion, as well as Paul Casey and Ryan Moore and then two more experienced players, Pat Perez and Bo Van Pelt. Also we have Nathan Green from Australia gracing the field at the SBS this year and Martin Laird from Scotland. This is some serious talent coming to the field and it will be very interesting to see if any of these first-timers can take home the prize.

Other names that you'll see on the tour roster include Michael Bradley and Stephen Ames, as well as Stewart Cink, Brian Gay, Geoff Ogilvy, Retief Goosen, Kenny Perry, Sean O'Hair and Steve Stricker.
