The San Diego Open is just one of the tournament in January that kick off the 2010 season of professional golf. This event features a prize purse of $5.3 million dollars and the winner get a total of nearly a million dollars for coming in first. Also, this tournament is worth 500 FedEx Cup points so it's sure to be an exciting one. Nick Watney is at the top of the leaderboard currently, and John Rollins is the second on the list. Lucas Glover is third, Camilo Villegas is fourth on the list and Matt Jones is fifth.

The field is sure to be a great one and this tournament locations was the course last year for the U.S. Open, so you know its a great course. Last year Nick Watney took the trophy at the tournament - called the Buick Invitational then – even though he was three shots behind.
