The 2014 edition of the OHL Classic at Mayakoba part of the 2015 PGA Tour will start from November 16th at the Playa del Carmen, Mexico. This will be the eighth edition of the tournament. The golf course at this tournament is called the El Camaleon Golf Club which has a par of 71 strokes. The total length of the course is 6, 987 yards (6, 389 m). The total prize money of the tournament is set at $ 6, 100, 000 out of which the champions gets $ 1, 098, 000.
The current champion is Harris English of the United States of America. He did this in record aggregate score of 263 strokes which is 21 below par. The field for this tournament stands at 132. On this there are 3 Players winners, 51 PGA Tour winners, 2 World Golf Championships winners and 8 Major winners.
As per the FedEx Cup standings for the week when the tournament commences Robert Streb is the current number one (up one place from last week) and Sang-Moon Bae is ranked two (down one place from last week). The third place is occupied by Ben Martin, the same as last week.

The OHL Classic at Mayakoba, golf tournament returns back to Mexico this year, this time for a week spanning from 11th November to the 17th of November. It is the only PGA Tour being held in Mexico. The prize money has been increased to a grand $6 million, which initially was only $1 million. The points have also been increased to 500 points.
The United States has sent a strong trio of Moore, Huh and Vegas. Last year’s Victor John Huh, returns this year with a tight grip on his trophy as the defending champion. Vegas had to miss out last year due to his knee Injury but will be seen back in swing for the championship.
Allanby of Australia, who lost against Huh last year, will also emerge as a prominent player, giving his opponents a tough time. Appleby, Bowditch, Jones, Bronson la cassie, Senden, Chalmers and Scott Gardiner will also be seen in the field.El Camaleón Golf Club at Mayakoba, Playa del Carmen, México has a warm climate and warm season grasses will give some of the player's advantage, as they are used to playing in such conditions.
