Mayakoba Golf Classic Live

The Mayakoba Golf Classic will be held February 17^th through the 21^st, at the El Camaleon Golf Club in Mexico and this Champions Tour Event features excitement like little else at the beginning of the season. The Champions Tour is a PGA Tour that is set up for golfers that are aged fifty and above, with players on the field list quite often that are legends in the world of professional golf. Mark Wilson won the tournament in 2009, and the field consist of 132 players who are competing for a prize purse of more than three and a half million dollars. Wednesday is the Pro-Am competition with round one following on Thursday. Round two is on Friday and then the third round on Saturday, with the final round commencing on Sunday, February 21^st. The field consists of some great names, with Mark Wilson back to defend his 2009 title. This is going to be a great tournament as we kick off the Champions's Tour for 2010.

The course is a Par 72 and was designed by Greg Norman, who himself has over 60 titles won, and is fast becoming someone famous in terms of designing golf courses.
