The Mayakoba Golf Classic at Riviera Maya-Cancun will happen at El Camaleon in Riviera Maya, Mexico and the purse for this tournament is $3,700,000 and will take place from February 24th through the 27th. The champion who took the title last year was Cameron Beckman, walking away with $648,000 and returning in 2011 to attempt to take the title one more time. This year, the winner gets to take home $666,000 as well as 250 FedEx Cup Points. The El Camaleon Golf Course is a Par 71 for difficulty and has a total of 6,923 yards.

Mark Wilson won the tournament in 2009, and the field consist of 132 players who are competing for a prize purse of more than three and a half million dollars. Wednesday is the Pro-Am competition with round one following on Thursday. Round two is on Friday and then the third round on Saturday, with the final round commencing on Sunday, February 21^st. The field consists of some great names, with Mark Wilson back to defend his 2009 title. This is going to be a great tournament as we kick off the Champions's Tour for 2010.
