The HP Byron Nelson Championship will be happening this week on the PGA Tour, followed by the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide Insurance, which happens June 2nd through the 5th at the Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio. The HP Byron Nelson Championship will happen May 26th through the 29th and it takes place at the TPC Four Seasons Resort in Irving, Texas. The purse is $6,500,000 and Jason Day is the defending champion having won $1,170,000 and 500 FedEx Cup points in 2010. He will be returning this year to try to defend his title. Besides Jason Day, who finished last year's tournament at ten under, other top ten finishers included Brian Gay who had eight under and tied with Jeff Overton and Blake Adams for second while Scott Verplank came in third.

May 20th begins the HP Byron Nelson Championship on the PGA Tour and it goes to the 23rd. This tournament features a giant sized prize purse, six and a half million dollars for these PGA players plus a total of 500 Fed Ex Cup points being given out. The tournament takes place at TPC Four Seasons Resort, which is located in Irving, Texas, and you can watch this tournament live by getting a membership at the banners on this page and signing up for access to high quality video right from your computer.

Rory Sabbatini is the defending champion and he walked away last year with $1,170,000 from the tournament prize pool. He ended with -19 while second placed Brian Davis had a final score of -17. DA Points took third in this tournament. This course has a total yardage of 7,166 and it is a Par 70 difficulty. The field this year includes some terrific golfers, many in the top of the PGA Tour leaderboard which right now has Tim Clark in first place, Robert Allenby in second, and American Lucas Glover sitting in third place with -14.
