The Chevron World Challenge is this week, starting on December 1st and going to the 6th and is a Charity Event to benefit the Tiger Woods Foundation which helps young people with careers and programs to help develop their character. Other events that the Tiger Woods Foundation puts on include the AT&T National, Tiger Jam and the TWLC Block Party. This event will be held at the Sherwood Country Club in California. You can watch the Chevron World Challenge Live by getting your membership to watch high quality streaming video right here at any of the links on this page.

One bit of news that isn't that surprising if you follow the world of golf is that Tiger Woods will not be attending his own charity event this year, the thirty three year old golfer just recently having been in a car accident and still recovering apparently. Normally, Tiger Woods hosts eighteen of the top golfers in the world on this field which always include the four major championships and the top eleven from the world rankings as well as the champion from last year. Then, the foundation selects two players that are exempt from the draws.

The field this year includes Paul Casey, Stewart Cink, Jim Furyk, Lucas Glover as well as Padraig Harrington and Zach Johnson. Martin Kaymer will be playing as well and Anthony Kim and Sean O'Hair. Kenny Perry is on the list, as is Ian Poutler, Steve Stricker, Camilo Villegas, Mike Weir and Lee Westwood. Y.E. Yang is the last name on the list and Justin Leonard and Graeme McDowell are both replacements for players unable to attend.
