Sybase Match Play Championship Live

On the LPGA Tour this week, the Sybase Match Play Championship will be played. It happens from May 17^th to the 20^th in Gladstone, New Jersey. The purse is a million and a half dollars. The most recent tournament with a result was the Mobile Bay LPGA Classic, held April 26^th through the 29^th. That event was won by Stacy Lewis and was played in Mobile, Alabama. Next, on the LPGA Tour, the ShopRite LPGA Classic will be held in Galloway, New Jersey from June 1^st to the 3^rd with a one and a half million dollar purse as well.

Last year's winner in this tournament was Suzann Pettersen, and then prior to that, Sun Young Yoo took the title. This year, the field includes Amanda Blumenherst, Katie Futcher and Sandra Gal as well as Jodi Ewart, Paula Creamer, Natalie Gulbis and Sophie Gustafson. Hee-Won Han is another name on the field as well as Caroline Hedwall, Maria Hjorth and Katherine Hull. Vicky Hurst, Pat Hurst and Amy Hung are also playing. Also, Ai Miyazato, Stacy Lewis, Brittany Lang, Candie Kung and Jessica Korda are all expected to attend.
