Navistar LPGA Classic Live

The Ladies of the LPGA will travel to Prattville, Alabama for the Navistar LPGA Classic Live from September 30^th to October 4^th and you can bet these ladies will be giving it their all. The title sponsor is Navistar, who makes trucks, engines and school buses. The first time this tournament was played was in 2007, when it was by Maria Hjorth, played on the Robert Trent Jonas Golf Trail. She beat Lorena Ochoa and Stacy Prammanasudh by just two strokes. The ladies are once again playing on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Capitol Hill, which is a course located just north of Alabama's capital, with three full courses. This is an amazing and large facility that has more than 1500 acres to it. The course is set up traditionally Scottish with over 150 bunkers that are scattered around, with mounds between twenty to forty feet high. It's a Par 72 course and it is more than 7,690 Yards long, with the longest hole being the Par 5 fifth hole that is 681 Yards. The shortest hole is hole thirteen which is just 203 yards.

Lorena Ochoa will be playing as well as Anna Rawson, Yani Tseng, Jiyai Sing and Brittany Lincicione Last year, Lorena won the tournament and over $200,000 while Cristie Kerr and Candie Kung tied for second place. Tied for Fourth place were Shanshan Feng and Song-Hee Kim. Wendy Doolan and Sarah Jane Kenyon tied for sixth with Jill McGill, Yani Tseng and Louise Friberg.
