Mizuno Classic Live

On the LPGA Tour this week is the Mizuna Classic, the first tournament in November for the series, happening from November 4^th through the 6^th, held in Shima-Shi, Mie, Japan and worth $1,200,000. This tournament will be followed by the Lorena Ochoa Invitational presented by Banamex and Jalisco It Happens Within You, held in Guadalajara, Mexico for a million dollars. The final event of the month will be the CME Group Titleholders, worth $1,500,000 and played in Orlando, Florida, and running from November 17^th to the 20^th.

The official field for this tournament has Chie Arimura and Yukari Baba as well as Amanda Bluemnherst, Chistel Boeljon and Heather Bowie Young. Also playing are Nikki Campbell and Chella Choi, as well as Na Yeon Choi and Saiki Fujita as well as Hee-Won Han. Other familiar names include Amy Hung, Vicky Hurst and Jennifer Johnson. The LPGA Tour will hold the Misuno Classic live this week and will be followed by the other tournament this month on the LPGA Tour, the Lorena Ochoa Invitational by Banamex and Corona Light taking place in Guadalajara, Mexico for $1,100,000 November 11^th through the 14^th. This week's tournament is the November 5^th through the 7^th Mizuno Classic, which will be held in Shima-Shi, Mie Japan for $1,200,000. It was won last year by Bo Bae Song with a score of 68-65-68=201 (-15). This tournament is a 54 hole stroke format and it has been playing since 1973. Before this one, the LPGA Hana Bank Championship presented by SK telecom was held October 29^th through the 31^st, in Incheon, South Korea and won by Na Yeon Choi with Vicky Hurst in second place and Song Hee Kim taking third.

The field for the 2010 version of the Mizuno Classic includes Kaoir Aoyama, Yukari baba and Amanda Blumenherst, as well as Na Yeon Choi and Saiki Fujita. Hee Won Han will also be attending this tournament as well as Sophie Gustafson, Vicky Hurst, Amy Hung and Katherine Hull.
