LPGA Honda PTT Thailand Live

The Ladies Professional Golf Association has the LPGA Honda PTT Thailand Live in a couple of weeks, specifically February 26^th through March 1^st, with 72 holes and a prize purse of $1,450,000. This event was started back in 2006, and it kicks off the 2010 season of professional golf, for the ladies of the LPGA. Lorena Ochoa was the 2009 Champ for this tournament, beating Hee Young Park by three strokes and winning the champion's allotment of $217,500. Park took home a check for around $140,000 and third placed Paula Creamer won just over $100,000. Stacy Prammanasudh and Brittany Lang tied for fourth place and Mika Miyazato took sixth. The rest of the top ten saw four in a tie for seventh place which included Angela Stanford, Helen Alfredsson, Sophie Gustafson and Yani Tseng. All of those players received a prize of $36,561.

The course is the Siam Country Club, a Par 72 course, with and the field consists of some incredible golfers. Paula Creamer will be competing, as will Sophie Gustafson and defending champion Lorena Ochoa. 2006 champion Lee-Won Han will also be in attendance at this event and many, many other great golfers for a total field size of 60 golfers.
