The 2014 LPGA Tour continues with the Kingsmill Championship to be played on the par-71 River Course at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia from 15 May to 18 May 2014. The tournament has a total kitty of USD 1,300,000 with the winner’s share of USD 195,000.Last year’s tournament was won by American Cristie Kerr with a winning score of 272(-12) in a playoff over 2007 champion Suzann Pettersen. Kerr, who is the only player to have won this tournament multiple times, had been victorious here in the earlier version of the tournament in 2009 and 2005.

Eight of the world’s top 10 lady golfers will be seen in action in Williamsburg including defending champion Kerr. World no. 2 Stacy Lewis will be seen demonstrating her skill, as will the 17-year-old Lydia Ko. Karrie Webb, Anna Nordqvist and Lexi Thompson will also compete for the title here, along with Paula Creamer, the runner up in 2012, and Jessica Korda. On the LPGA Tour this week, the LPGA Kingsmill Championship, which is going to be from the 6th of September to the 9th. It will be held in Williamsburg, Virginia, and will have a purse of a million and three hundred thousand. Following the Kingsmill Championship, there will be an event September 13th through the 16th called the Ricoh Women's British Open, which has a $2,750,000 purse. After that, it will be the September 20th through the 23rd Navistar LPGA Classic, which is played for $1,300,000 in Prattville, Alabama.
