The LPGA Tour will hold the Avnet LPGA Classic this week, and it is the only tournament in the month of April for the LPGA Tour. The tournament will be followed by two events in May however, the first the Sybase Match Play Championship, held May 19^th through the 22^nd and the HSBC Brazil Cup which starts on May 28^th in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The Avnet LPGA Classic will be held from April 28^th to May 1^st and the venue location is Mobile, Alabama in the United States with the prize purse totaling $1,300,000. Last year, Se Ri Pak was able to take the title home, and her winning score was 69-66-68 for a total of 203 and thirteen under Par. She was in a three hole sudden death match with Brittany Linciocome and Suzann Pettersen and ended up on top in 2010. This is the third year that this event has been been held. However, there was no Avnet LPGA Classic in 2009.
