The 75th Senior PGA Championship 2014 will be held at the Harbor Shores Golf Club in Benton Harbor, Michigan for the second time in three years.  Koki Idoki, who has dedicated his entire career to the Japan Golf Tour is the defending champion after he won last year in what was his first appearance in America.  The first Senior PGA Championship was held back in year 1937 with Jack Hutchinson bagging the title on that occasion. Since then though, the tournament has seen an illustrious list of winners including Sam Snead who had won the tournament on six occasions. Hale Irwin has won four times while Gary Player won three times.

The likes of Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, and Tom Watson have each won the highly regarded tournament on a couple of occasions each. The present tournament will see 156 players fight it out amongst them as they look to win the tournament.  The Senior PGA Championship 2014 offers a total purse of $2.1 million and the likes of Kenny Perry, Bernhard Langer and the rest of the field will be trying their utmost to claim a piece of the pie. In the meantime, it has been announced that the 78th Senior PGA Championship to be held in May 2017 will be held at the Trump National in Potomac Falls.
