South Georgia Classic Live

The South Georgia Classic Live is going to be held from Thursday, April 12^th through Sunday, April 15^th in Valdosta, Georgia, at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club, which was sketched by David Lowe III in 2004. This is a Par 72 course with 7,781 yards and this Nationwide Tour event will be a great one to watch with some great players participating and you can watch it live by getting your membership at the banners on this page. Let's take a quick look at this Par 72 course. The longest hole is going to be the Par 5 fourth hole, which is 657 yards and the shortest hole is only 191 yards and it is the Par 3 eighth hole. The purse is $600,000 and the winner will walk away with a check for $108,000, with $64,800 going to the second place golfer and then third place will walk away with $40,800. This is a Nationwide Tour event.

If you don't already have a membership to watchlivegolf.com this is the time to join as the South Georgia Classic golf tournament starts on Thursday, running from 5:00 to 8:00 PM GMT.

The third annual South Georgia Classic Live will kick off on Thursday, April 23rd in Valdosta, Georgia and the golfers will finish up the event on Sunday April 26th.

Bryan DeCorso leads the pack currently, and the tournament will take place at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club. 

Stan Fillon, Tournament Director for the South Georgia Classic said, "Excitement is high. We're excited about getting started."

The tournament is being presented by the First State Bank and Trust Company and the festivities begin Monday, leading up to the first round on Thursday when 156 players will start the tournament, that number being cut to half, after the first two rounds.

Bryan DeCorso will be playing, who won the tourney last year, as well as the 2007 South Georgia Tournament winner John Kimball, but in a twist that will make the game very interesting, they will be joined by a local for the first time - Brent Witcher - who received a sponsor's exemption to enter the tourney.
