News Sentinel Open Presented by Pilot Live

This week's Nationwide Tour event is the News Sentinal Open presented by Pilot Live at the Fox Den Country Club in Knoxville, Tennessee. The purse is $500,000 and last year Chris Kirk took home his share of it, $90,000 and will be back this year to defend that title. Previously on the Nationwide Tour calendar was the Midwest Classic which happened August 18^th through the 21^st at the Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate in Overland Park, located in Kansas in the United States. James Nitties won the tournament.

The players in this year's News Sentinal Open include Elliot Gealy, Rob Oppenhein, Brad Adamonis and Steven Alker as well as Greg Owen, Mark Anderson and Jin Park. Aaron Goldberg will also be playing and Carl Paulson. Jeff Gove, Ted Potter Jr. Nathan Green, Alistair Presnell and Andy Bare are all on the list of players expected to attend the News Sentinal Open as well.
