The Micheal Hill New Zealand Open Live will be held January 28^th through the 31^st, with this premier New Zealand tournament featuring some of the best golf of both women and men of the year. The event will be held at the Hills in Arrowtown, which is near Queenstown in New Zealand this weekend and is co-sanctioned with the Nationwide tour. The hills was opened back in 2007 and is 250 acres of beautiful tree-lined greens and fairways, with several different varieties of trees and foliage on the course to showcase some of New Zealand's plant life. It's a Par 72 course that is 7,243 yards in length. This tournament features a $600,000 purse and is the tournament of the year for the Nationwide participants who are hoping to prove themselves worthy of moving onto the larger and more prestigious PGA Tour, both tours just barely kicking off their 2010 seasons in professional golf.

Some of the featured players on the field this year are Jason Gore who has won a PGA and a Nationwide tournament in the same year, as well as Bradley Iles, who is back in business. Also Bubba Dickerson and Adam Bland. On the women's side, the tournament is called the Pegasus New Zealand Open and the women's field includes Laura Davies, Angela Harrisk, Aram Cho and more.
