The Cleveland Open has a lot of history and most of it is dominated by Arnold Palmer, who won the inaugural edition in 1963 having defeated Tony Lema and Tommy Arron in a three way playoff at the Beechmont Country Club in Cleveland. The Lakewood Country Club has held the event in the years 1966 and 1968 in the past. There should be some tough competition at Cleveland as some of the best golfers on the planet will be playing the tournament this year. May the most deserving man win.
