Chiquita Classic Live

The Nationwide Tour holds the Chiquita Classic live this week, July 14^th through the 17^th at the TPC River's Bend in Maineville, Ohio. They will be competing for a $550,000 purse, and last year, it was Tommy Gainey who took home the title and a $99,000 prize purse. Coming up next on the Nationwide Tour, the Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational, which happens at the OSU Golf Club in Columbus, Ohio, July 21^st through the 24^th. That tournament will feature a $800,000 purse and D.J. Brigman will be defending his 2010 title.

On the Nationwide Tour we have the Chiquita Classic Live starting off the month of July, and this tournament is worth $550,000 and will be held July 12th through the 18th. The venue is located in the city of Maineville, Ohio and is called the TPC at River's Bend. This tournament joins the Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational and the Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic on the Nationwide Tour in July. The TPC River's Bend has a yardage of 7,180 and is a Par 72. The purse is $550,000 and the winner gets to walk away with a check for $108,000. Practice rounds will be on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and all the action will start on Thursday, July 15^th. Round two will be played on Friday, and then Round Three on Saturday. The final round of the Chiquita Classic is on Sunday, July 18^th. There are no past results or winners to report for this tournament because 2010 will be the first year for the Chiquita Classic.
