The Champions Tour will hold the Wendys Champions Skins Game Live, January 28^th through the 30^th and the venue for this special event will be the Royal Kaanapali Golf Course which is located in the beautiful area of Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. The purse for this tournament is $770,000 and the defending champs are Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson. They will be back this year to defend. The top prize for this event is $175,000 and it is something that fans look forward to all year. Last year, seventy year old Jack Nicklaus made his 20^th appearance in the tournament earning his 111^th skin while Tom Watson took his 81^st. It was also Nicklaus' fourth time winning the tournament, having done so in 1991, 2005 and 2007 previously. The tournament has been a team event since 2006 and the team of Nicklaus and Watson is one that is tough to beat. The defending champions last year were Ben Crenshaw and Fuzzy Zoeller, but they were out in the first round last year.

Right now there is only one event to rank those that are contending for the Charles Schwab Cup and the first place spot is held by John Cook, who currently has 305 points. Tom Lehman is in the second placed slot with 184 and then Tom Watson takes third with 130. Russ Cochran will be in fourth along with Jeff Sluman, and both of those players have 100 points.
