This tournament will take place the first week in June, from the 1^st to the 7^th. The Champion walks away from this game pocketing nearly a quarter of a million dollars with a total purse of 1.6 million being paid out to the winners. Triton Financial took over this champion's tour event after Texas Governor Rick Perry made the announcement in October, that they would sponsor the tournament in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Last year's event was played in May and had Dennis Watson in first place, with a score of 206, one point lower than runner-up Scott Hoch, as well as Nick Price and Tim Simpson, who all earned a score of 207.
