The PGA Tour goes to the Dominican Republic this week at the Punta Espada Golf Club for the Cap Cana Championship which is March 26th through the 28th. This tournament features a total prize purse of $1.6 Million dollars and the winner will walk away with a big check in the amount of $240,000. Last year's Cap Cana Championship saw Keith Fergus take the number one spot with a score of 68, 68, and 67 for the respective three rounds for a total of 203. In second place was Andy Bean and Mark O'Meara both with score of 204. Fourth went to Joey Sindelar and then fifth place was taken by Gene Jones. This means that Fergus walked away with a $315,000 share of the prize purse, Bean and O'Meara each got $168,000. This year, the action continues in the Dominican Republic this year for more prize money starting March 26th.

Some of the players on the 2010 field include Craig Stadler from the United States, as well as Bernard Langer from Germany.
