The ACE Group Classic Live

Peter Jacobson host The ACE Group Classic Live as professional golf begins for the 2010 season. The ACE Group Classic is a Champions Tour event, where golfers from the Champion's Tour -The PGA's premier tour for golfers aged fifty and over. You know it will be a great tournament by the caliber of players on the Champion's tour and this exciting tourney can trace its roots back to 1988 when it was first won by Gary Player. Last year, the prize money was $240,000 for first place with a total purse of one point six million. Loren Roberts was the player that walked away with last year's first prize and it was Scott Hoch before that.

Amazingly, the very first winner of this tournament, Gary Player will be competing in the 2010 edition of the ACE Group Classic and other names should send a tingle up your spine as well, such as legendary golfer Lee Trevino. Other names added to the field include first timers Russ Cochran, David Frost and Bob Tway as well as Fuzzy Zoeller, Ben Crenshaw and Craig Stadler.
