Regions Tradition Live

The Champion's Tour will be holding the Regions Tradition this week followed by the May 26^th through the 29^th Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid, held at the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky. Then, the Principal Charity Classic will be held from June 3^rd to the 5^th at the Glen Oaks Country Club in Des Moines, Iowa. The Regions Tradition will be held May 5^th through the 8^th and it happens at Shoal Creek Golf in Shoal Creek, Alabama. The purse for this tournament is $2,200,000 and the defending champion is Fred Funk and he will be returning this year to take it again if he can. The most recent tournament before this one was the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf, which happened April 22^nd through the 24^th at the Savannah Harbor Golf Resort. That tournament was worth $2.7 Million and was won by David Eger and Mark McNulty.

The players for this tournament include Jay Haas, Tommy Armour III, Nick Price, Andy Bean and Chip Beck as well as Scott Hoch, Dana Quigley, Ronnie Black and Hale Irwin. Peter Senior will also be competing along with Scott Simpson, Hal Sutton and Lu Allen. Bob Gilder, Larry Nelsen and Curtis Strange will also be playing.
