The Champions Tour will head to Florida for this week's tournament, and then onto Savanna, Georgia for the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf, which happens April 22^nd through the 24^th at the Savannah Harbor Golf Resort. Then, the series will be moving onto Shoal Creek Golf Club in Shoal Creek, Alabama, for a $2.2 Million dollar tournament called the Regions Tradition. This week's tournament is the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am, and it will be held at the TPC Tampa Bay, which is located near the city in Lutz, Florida. The prize purse for this event is $1,700,000 and it will be held from April 15^th through the 17^th. Last year, Bernhard Langer was able to take home the title at this tournament, walking away with $255,000 and he will be back to defend his title again this year. He put Mark O'Meara in second place by one stroke and Mike Reid took third. Tom Kite had fourth place last year, and Keith Fergus took fifth.

The field for this Champion's Tour event includes Jay Haas, Gary Hallberg, Chip Beck, Phil Blackmar and Hale Irwin as well as Tom Lehman, Scott Simson and Peter Senior. Mike Reid will also be playing along with Fuzzy Zoeller, Russ Cochran, Jeff Sluman, Hal Sutton, Keith Fergus and Tom Watson. Also, look for Kenny Perry, David Peoples and Fred Funk. The Outback Steakhouse Pro American is this week from April 12^th to the 18^th and right now, Fred Couples is leading the Charles Schwab Cup standings, followed by Bernard Langer, and then Tom Watson and Tom Lehman. Fifth place on the board is taken by Ronnie Black. Last year, Nick Price was the big winner – big for him as it was his very first title. The tournament benefits FARA and Operation Homefront – Florida,with the event located in the beautiful Tampa Bay area and played for a prize purse of $1,700,000. Besides Price, previous winners include Tom Watson, who won it in both 2008 and 2007, as well as Jerry Pate, Mark McNulty, Bob Gilder and Hale Irwin. The tournament has been played since 1988 and is hosted at the TPC Tampa Bay, which is 6,898 yards long and is a Par 71 course that was designed by Bobby Weed and Chi Chi Rodriguez.

Some of the professionals that have committed to the event include Fulton Allem, Bob Gilder, John Cook, Chip Beck, Ronnie Black as well as Andy Bean and Allen Doyle.
