JELD WEN Tradition Live

The Champion's Tour will host the JELD WEN Tradition Live, and this tournament takes place August 19^th through the 22^nd, with a purse of $2,600,000. This event will be held in Sunriver, Oregon and the course is the Crosswater Club at Sunriver. Mike Reid took home $392,000 last year by winning this tournament and he'll be back to defend his title this year. The JELD-WEN Tradition starts on Monday with practice rounds and the Pro-Am, which continues on Tuesday. The pros get to practice again on Wednesday, which is Junior Golf day as well. Thursday starts the action with round number one. Rounds number two and three are over the weekend, on Thursday and Friday, and on Sunday, August 22^nd the tournament concludes with the final round. The Crosswater Club at Sunriver is ranked 17^th in the top 100 courses in Golfweek for 2007 and it's a Par 72 with total yardage equaling 7683.

Here's a look at the field for this Champions Tour event. David Peoples, Fred Funk, Fulton Allem, Jeff Sluman and Tom Lehman will all be playing, as well as Fuzzy Zoeller, Jerry Pate and Joe Ozaki. This comes just two weeks after Watson played incredibly well at the British Open and finished in an impressive second place. This will be Watson’s 9^th appearance at the event and his fifth major as a part of the Champions Tour. He is a one time champion as well and managed to win the event at Reserve Vineyards in 2003.
