The Greater Hickory Classic at Rock Barn happens this week, and is going to be followed by the next even on the Champion's Tour calendar, the Dick's Sporting Goods Open, which happens in Endicott, New York from June 24^th to the 26^th. After that, the series heads to Quebec, Canada for the Montreal Championship presented by Desjardins. The Greater Hickory Classic at Rock Barn will happen June 10^th through the 12^th at the Rock Barn Golf Club in Conover, North Carolina. The purse is $1,750,000 and last year the winner walked away with $262,500. Gary Hallberg won this tournament in 2010 and will be back to defending again this year. Other winners that have taken this tournament include Jay Haas and Andy Bean, as well as Craig Stadler who took it in 2003, the first year of the tournament and Gary Hallberg won in 2010 with Fred Couples as the runner up.

The field this year includes Fuzzy Zoeller and David Peoples as well as Kenny Perry and Andy Bean. Scott Hoch, Dana Quigley, Scott Simpson and Steve Lowery will be playing along with Peter Senior, Water Hall, Mark Wiebe and Mike Goodes.
