With a new year comes a new venue, the fifth venue that this tournament has moved to in seven years. Last year the event was at the Beijing CBD International Golf Club in Beijing, China, won by Scott Strange from Australia. Strange is a great golfer and while most tournaments that he takes he is leading and you can at least count him for a good finish, in this particular tournament he came from behind and won the event on the very last day. He finished with a four under Par sixty eight. Runner up was Spaniard Gonzalo Fernandez-Casteno.
