Vivendi Seve Trophy Live

The European Tour will be holding the Vivendi Seve Trophy this week, a tournament that is held from September 15^th through the 18^th for one million, one hundred fifty thousand Euros. The KLM Open and the Omega European Masters are also held in September, but the only finished tournament at this point is the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles, which was held in Perthshire, Scotland from August 25^th to the 28^th. Thomas Bjorn was about to come out on top in that event, and he walked away with his share of the 1,587,270 purse.

The folks that will be playing in this tournament is the best of the World Golf Rankings, and in Great Britain and Ireland that list is led by Luke Donald. Lee Westwood is there as well, along with Rory McIlroy, Graeme McDowell and Ian Poulter. On the Continental Europe side, Martin Kaymer is in first, along with Robert Karlsson, Francesco Molinari and Anders Hansen as well Matteo Manassero.
