The South African Open Championships 2010 will be held December 17^th through the 20^th, and this European Tour event features some great golfers. The tournament is in Paarl, Western Cape in South Africa and will be played at the Pearl Valley Golf Estates. The course is 7,319 yards and is a Par 72. The reigning champions is Richard Sterne. So, three players from South Africa will be hoping to finish out their season in this tournament at Pearl Valley this week. The South African Open Championships is the second oldest Open tournament in golf and it welcomes Charl Schwartzel, Louis Oosthuizen and Thomas Aiken who have had a great year. Schwartzel won three European Tour Titles so far, and Oosthuizen has five Sunshine Tour wins. Aiken is another player having a great season with seven out of ten tournaments with a top ten finish in 2009.
