On the European Tour this weekend is the Andalucia Masters, happening at the Club de Golf Valderrama, Sotogrande, Spain. It happens from October 27th to the 30th and is worth 3,000,000. It will be followed by two more tournaments that make up some of the last to be played on the European Tour this year. The European Tour will hold the Open de Andalucia this week and then will move onto the Trophee Hassann II which happens at the Golf du Palais Royal and Golf de L'Ocean in Morocco. The Open de Andalucia de Golf is a tournament that will take place in Malaga, Spain at the Parador de Malaga and will happen from March 24th through the 27th. The prize purse for this event is €1,000,000. The Parador de Malaga is a Par 70 tournament and is a great place to play golf with a total yardage of 6,817. Last year, the tournament was held at the same venue and was won by Louis Oosthuizen. In 2009 however, it was held in the Real Club de Golf de Sevilla and won by Soren Kjeldsen. The event first began back in 1992 and stopped for a few short breaks, the latest in 1999, coming back in 2007 and each year since then as well. The European Senior Tour also has the Berenberg Bank Masters March 26th through the 28th and the European Challenge Tour has the Kenya Open March 25th through the 28th.
