This European Tour event began in 1999 and was originally called the Scottish PGA Championship. It has been one of the few events that has kept the same sponsor throughout the years, but the name has changed several times. The tournament is played at the Gleneagles Hotel located in Scotland and it is played over the PGA Centenary Course, the same course that will host the 2014 Ryder Cup.

This event is unique because with the exception of the Open Championship, which is played in Scotland on a rotating basis, it is one of only three tournaments played in Scotland. One is the Scottish Open and the other is the Dunhill Links Championship. Many fans get this tournament confused with the Johnnie Walker Classic, but this is not the case. The Johnnie Walker Championship is newer than the Classic, and the Classic is played in the Asia region. To watch the Johnnie Walker Championship simply click on any of the banners on this page and you'll get instant access to live video feeds and streams from the course. It all happens starting Thursday, August 20th from Scotland. Your defending champion is Gregory Havret
