The European Tour holds the final tournament of the year this week, the Dubai World Championship Live. This event will be held from the 8th of December to the 11th and it is Presented by DP World. The Dubai World Championship of Golf is the end of the European Tour of Golf and the tournaments along the way have been called the Race to Dubai as these golfers compete. It will be November 19th through the 22nd at the Jumeirah Golf Estates in the United Arab Emirates, in of course, Dubai. This is the first time for this tournament but it is likely that it will become a tradition for many years to come. With just over two and a half million Euros in prize money Roy McIlroy leads the Race to Dubai. Lee Westwood takes the number two spot with his winnings at $2,410,277. Three on the Dubai Leaderboard is Martin Kaymer and Ross Fisher takes the fourth slot with just over $2.1 Million Euros. Then we have Paul Casey rounding out the top five on the leaderboard with just over two mil. The rest of the top ten looks like this: Geoff Ogilvy in number six spot, then Oliver Wilson who is followed by Simon Dyson, Ian Poulter and Ernie Els.

This is going to be a terrific tournament and the course is ripe for the headline event, which will start a tradition on the European Tour that may last for decades.
