The Emirates Golf Club is a terrific location for this tournament and is rated a Par 72 for difficult with 7,301 yards of course to play on. The PGA and European Tour event known as the Dubai Desert Classic will be held February 1st through the 7th, 2010 at the Majlis Course of the Emirates Golf Club and this tournament promises to do what it has done every year since its inception – become a favorite tournament on the PGA and European Tours circuit. You can watch the Dubai Desert Classic Live by getting your membership at the banners on this page and watching in high quality streaming video right from your PC or Laptop.

The Emirates Golf Club is a Par 72 course with 7,301 Yards and the course is set up to mimic as much of the actual land as possible, with patches of desert throughout. One of the problem areas is the eighth hole, which is a Par 4, where the green is blocked by bushes and other foliage. The 18th hole can give problems as well, as it did for Tiger Woods at this tournament back in 2001, ultimately losing him the game. The 18th hole comes in at just under 550 Yards.

Category One entries for this tournament include Lee Westwood, Robert Karlsson, Colin Montgomerie, Michael Campbell and Shaun Micheel, all who are all major winners on the Race to Dubai. Other notable players include Henrik Stenson, 2007 victor, and Robert-Jan Derksen who won in 2003. Get your membership at the banners on this page to watch the Dubai Desert Classic Live right from your computer in streaming video coverage starting on February 1st.
