Avantha Masters 2010 Live

The European Tour will host the Avantha Masters, February 11^th through the 14^th from New Delhi, India. We started the year off with the Africa Open, which was held January 7^th through the 10^th. Some of the players participating in the Avantha Masters this year include sine great golfers and the event gets played at the DFI Golf and Country Club in New Delhi. The field includes European Tour Order of Merit winners from 2008-2010 including Danny Lee, Richard Finch and Mark Brown. Also participating are winners of dual ranking PGA and European tour combined event from 2009 including Richie Ramsey and Rafael Cabrera Bello. Khunal Bashin, Rashid Khan, Callum Macauley and Lee Slattery were all sponsor invitees.

Winners of the Avantha Masters get paid in prestige and prize money, which equals 250,000 Euros for first place and more than 166,000 for second. Third place gets 93,900 Euros and fourth and fifth get 75,000 and 63,600 respectively. The course is a grand total of 7,156 yards and will present a bit of difficultly to even the best golfer with a Par 72.
