South Africa hosts the Alfred Dunhill Championship live, which starts on October 1st, and last year native South African Ernie Ells was trying to grab the victory and leading by two when he had a major disastrous moment, hitting his ball in the water, allowing the title to fall to John Bickerton. Ernie won't be attempting to redeem himself this year either, as he is preparing for the South African Open which means that it is up to Rory Sabbatini who is this year's headliner. The other Rory, Rory Mcllroy, will also be playing in the 2009 Alfred Dunhill Championship Live.

Sabbatini has certainly not had his best year of golf and is currently ranked 30th in the world golf rankings, so it is uncertain if he will be leading the field in this tournament. This is one of three tournaments in the Race to Dubai, an event co-sanctioned by both the South Africa and European Tour. They'll be playing at Leopard Creek, which has a potential mess on the 18th hole, as well as the 208 yard sixteenth hole. There is a huge expanse of water between the tee and the green, and will certainly test the mettle of these golfers.

The eighteenth hole is certainly the toughest however and it is a great finishing hole, as it makes for a very exciting tournament, particularly when the scores are close. There will be 156 men teeing off at Leopard Creek for the Alfred Dunhill Championship 2009 and you can catch it live right here on www.watchlivegolf.com. Get your membership by clicking the banners on this page and you'll have access to high quality streaming video that is always live from the course. No one knows how this tournament will turn out, but one thing is certain, it is one you don't want to miss. The Alfred Dunhill Championship starts on October 1st.
