The Thailand Golf Championship 2013 which starts on Thursday is likely to generate a massive crowd an it is the second last international tournament of this season. As a result many big names are available on the card. Henrik-Stenson of Sweden and England‘s Justin Rose who are at present positioned 3rd and 4th around the world respectively are surely aiming to win this knock to glorify their glamorous season even more. There are many others who will try to steal the spotlight as the stage of this magnificent $1 million game is set up at the Amata-Spring-Country-Club.
Big names like Stenson and Rose have already been mentioned. Other high profile names include Spanish Sergio Garcia, Kiradech Aphibarnrat of Thailand, Ryo Ishikawa of Japan and South African title holder Charl Schwartzel. However Stenson’s poor form last week has disappointed many and Garcia’s record in Asia is not a very charming one.

On the Asian Tour this week, the Thailand Golf Championship, which is going to be at the Amata Spring Country Club in Bangkok, and will be held for a million dollars, from the 6th to the 9th of December. The defending champion for this tournament is Lee Westwood who hails from England and the course is a beautiful Par 72 private club that is around an hour from Bangkok, with 7,453 yards. This course was the venue for the Open Championship International Final Qualifying in 2012 and 2011 as well.
Some of the players that will be participating in the Thailand Golf Championship include Juvic Pagunsan from the Phillipines as well as Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee. Tetsuju Hriatsuka from Japan will be participating along with Rikard Karlbert and Lee-in Wookder. Australia's Scott Hend will be playing in this tournament along with countrymate David Gleeson and then Jbe Kruger from Russia will also be in attendance. Thaworn Wiratchant from Thailand will be playing and Anirban Lahiri from India.

This week the Asian Tour holds the final event of the year, happening from the 15th of December to the 18th, at the Amata Spring Country Club in Bangkok, Thailand for $1,000,000 USD. This tournament is new so it doesn't have a defending champion and it follows the postponed King's Cup, which is from December 8th to the 11th at the Singha Park Khon Kaen Golf Club in Thailand as well. The first tee time for the first round for Tanatchant Puaktes and Hirotaro Naito will be at 6:50AM on Day One, with tee times every ten minutes after that.
Some of the players that will be participating in the Thailand Golf Championship include Thongchai Jaidee, Jeev Milkha Singh and Lu Wei Chih. Also Mark Brown and Rikard Karberg will be playing along with David Gleeson, Chan Yih-Shin, Berry Henson, Kiradech Aphibarnrat. Himmat Rai and Chan Yih-Shin are playing this year as well.
