On the Asian Tour this week the Volvo China Open will be held at the Binhai Lake Golf Club for RMB 20,000,000, a joined event with the European Tour. The next tournament that will happen on the Asian Tour is the GS Caltex Maekyung Open, held at the Namseoul Golf and Country Club for 1,00,000,000 KRW and held from the 10th of March to the 13th. After that, the Asian Tour holds the SK Telecom Open, which is at the Pinx Golf Club from May 17th through the 20th. That tournament is going to be worth KRW 900,000,000.

The OneAsia Tour will host the Enjoy Jakarta Indonesia Open,which will be held July 1st through the 4th, at the Damai Indah Golf - Pantai Indah Kapuk Course, in Jakarta, Indonesia. This tournament is nicknamed the Indonesia Open and was preceded by the SK Telecom Open May 20th through the 23rd and the next OneAsia Tour event after this one will be the Thailand Open in August. Last year, this tournament was played February 26th through March 1st at the New Kuta Golf Resort in Bali. The winner for the 2009 tournament was Thongchai Jaidee from Thailand, taking home $208,330 with a score of 12 under. Three golfers tied for second place, Steve Webster from England, Simon Dyson who is also from England and Alexander Noren from Sweden, all with a score of ten under. Then, two golfers came in tied for fifth, Spain's Rafael Cabrera Bello and Richard Bland from the U.K., coming in at 9 under Par.
The purse this year for the tournament is $1,000,000 and its stroke play format. This tournament was established in 1974 and has seen quite a few different winners over the course of the years, including 2008 champion Felipe Aguilar from Chile and Mikko Ilonen from Finland who won in 2007. British Golfer Simon Dyson took the title in 2006 and the 2005 champion was Thaworn Wiratchant from Thailand.
